VCBA People’s Choice Awards Gala: Honouring Excellence in the Vietnamese Business Community

 

Held at the prestigious River Rock Theatre within River Rock Casino Resort, the event welcomed approximately 200 distinguished guests, including business leaders, community representatives, sponsors, and partners from across the country.

 

The evening was honoured by the presence of dignitaries, including Teresa Wat, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Richmond–Bridgeport; Alexa Loo, Councillor of the City of Richmond; Anh Fort, Lieutenant-Colonel of the 39 Service Battalion, an Army Reserve unit in British Columbia; and Ken Chau, President of the Vietnamese Canadian Business Association, alongside members of the VCBA Board of Directors.

 

As VCBA's inaugural awards initiative, the People’s Choice Awards were established to recognize outstanding Vietnamese-owned businesses and professionals whose products and services have made meaningful contributions to the community. Award categories spanned a diverse range of sectors, including Beauty & Wellness, Retail & Commerce, Professional Services, and Real Estate.

Among the evening’s highlights, Jayden Vo, founder and lead realtor of Pivot Homes Group, was named the Winner of the People’s Choice Award in the Real Estate category. This recognition, voted on by VCBA and the Vietnamese community across Canada, reflects both professional excellence and the trust he has built within the community.

This achievement is meaningful encouragement for Jayden Vo and Pivot Homes Group to continue advancing their core values—delivering professional, client-centred real estate services and supporting Vietnamese families in their journey to establish homes and build long-term success in Canada.

In his remarks, Jayden Vo shared that Pivot Homes Group is making strategic investments in operational processes and digital technologies while strengthening its team to better serve clients in residential buying and selling and rental property investment. In addition, he is expanding into commercial real estate to support Vietnamese entrepreneurs in growing their businesses, particularly in Victoria, BC, and across Vancouver Island.
